Albula - Julier - Flüela - Tour

short tour description/route characteristics

Three passes with more than 2000 m altitude form the special attraction of this tour. It is quite demanding both in terms of topography and length (550 km). The route is characterized by magnificent landscapes and offers "curve-technically" everything a motorcyclist's heart desires!

From Sonthofen the route first leads over the Riedbergpass (1420 m) to Hittisau. From there it continues to Egg and Mellau to Au. Here the winding route up to the Faschinajoch (1486 m) begins.

Further on via Thüringerberg and Feldkirch you reach Liechtenstein. Then via Luzisteig (713 m) to Chur and up to Lenzerheide (1549 m). Shortly afterwards the ascent to the Albulapass (2315 m) begins. A grandiose mountain scenery accompanies the road.

The tour leads down into the Engadine to St. Moritz and the lake of the same name. Then the route climbs up to the Julierpass (2284 m) and via Tiefencastel to Davos. The Flüela Pass (2383 m) is the next "highlight" on the programme. Also with a spectacular backdrop, the route goes up to the top of the pass and then down into the Lower Engadine. The tour continues towards Landeck. At Fliess we leave the main route and climb up to the Pillerhöhe. From there down into the Pitztal and to Imst. Then up to the Hahntennjoch (1903 m) and over the Lechtal and the Gaichtpass (1093 m) into the Tannheimer Tal. Finally over the Oberjoch (1136 m) back to Sonthofen.

The total distance is 550 km
